Selected work

A small, honest body of work.

Portfolio projects, concept demonstrations and internal systems. Each write-up follows the same structure: problem, approach, architecture, workflow, outcome, lessons learned.

Where a project is a demonstration rather than a production deployment, it is clearly labelled. We do not imply clients we haven't worked with.

Clinic automation system

Industry

Clinic operations

Technology
n8nSupabaseTwilioWhatsApp BusinessOpenAI
Case 01
Problem

Small clinics lose meaningful time to routine coordination: taking bookings, chasing confirmations, reminding patients, re-entering the same details across systems, and answering the same handful of questions all day. Front-desk staff end up doing the work of a coordinator, and clinical staff get pulled in to fill the gaps.

Approach

A modest back-office system that handles the coordination layer around the clinic — intake, reminders, and internal handoffs — while keeping the clinical software as the source of truth. Nothing clinical is automated. The goal is to give the front desk their day back.

Architecture
Booking channel (web / WhatsApp)
Intake workflow
Scheduling & reminders
Clinic record system
Front-desk dashboard
Follow-up routing
Outcome
  • Front-desk staff spend noticeably less time on routine coordination.
  • Fewer missed appointments thanks to consistent, well-timed reminders.
  • Every touchpoint is captured in one place instead of scattered across inboxes.

Assistant that resolves scoped client requests

Industry

Professional services

Technology
OpenAISupabasen8nHubSpotSlack
Case 02
Problem

Client-facing teams answer the same set of scoped questions every week — pulled from documentation that already exists but lives in too many places. The repetition slows response times and quietly displaces higher-value advisory work.

Approach

A grounded assistant deployed on the client portal, connected to a curated knowledge base. Every answer is cited. Anything outside scope, or below a confidence threshold, is escalated to a human with the full transcript attached.

Architecture
Client portal
Assistant
Knowledge base
Confidence check
Human handoff
CRM
Outcome
  • A large share of routine questions handled without a human in the loop.
  • Faster median response times on the questions that were already well-documented.
  • A steady feedback loop that keeps the knowledge base honest and current.

CRM, billing and support kept in step

Industry

B2B operations

Technology
n8nHubSpotStripeSupabaseSlack
Case 03
Problem

As teams grow, the customer record drifts. Sales updates one system, billing updates another, support sees a third view — and the gaps only surface when a customer is already unhappy.

Approach

A thin, event-driven layer with a shared customer model. Writes are idempotent, retries are automatic, and anything that fails lands in a dead-letter queue with an alert — so silent failures become normal, tractable tickets.

Architecture
CRM
Billing
Support
Event bus
Shared customer model
Reconciliation report
Outcome
  • The customer record stops drifting between tools.
  • Failures stop being silent — they show up as tickets, not surprises.
  • Ops teams reclaim meaningful time each week from manual reconciliation.

Luxury tailoring platform

Industry

Luxury tailoring

Technology
Next.jsSupabasen8nStripeTwilio
Case 04
Problem

A bespoke tailoring house was juggling client measurements, fitting appointments, fabric orders and delivery updates across spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads and paper cards. Every new client added coordination overhead, and repeat clients expected a level of continuity the business couldn't reliably deliver by hand.

Approach

A private client platform engineered as the operational backbone of the atelier: a booking system for consultations and fittings, a client profile with measurements and preferences, and an internal workflow that ties orders to suppliers, tailors and delivery.

Architecture
Client-facing website
Booking & consultation
Client profile & measurements
Order workflow
Supplier & workroom coordination
Delivery updates
Outcome
  • The atelier runs from one operational system instead of scattered channels.
  • Repeat clients experience meaningful continuity across every commission.
  • Coordination time per order drops significantly as the business scales.

Women's fashion e-commerce platform

Industry

Women's fashion e-commerce

Technology
Shopifyn8nSupabaseKlaviyoStripe
Case 05
Problem

A growing fashion brand was losing time to manual order handling, disconnected inventory, and customer messages that ended up in three different inboxes. Growth was making the business feel less controlled, not more.

Approach

An e-commerce platform engineered as one operational system: storefront, inventory, fulfilment, customer service and finance connected end-to-end, with a light customer-service workflow to keep response times consistent.

Architecture
Storefront

Order & fulfilment workflow

Operational dashboard
Outcome
  • One operational view of every order, from checkout to delivery.
  • Customer response times become consistent as volume grows.
  • Finance and operations stop chasing each other across tools each week.

Plumbing business platform

Industry

Plumbing services

Technology
Next.jsVapin8nStripeTwilio
Case 06
Problem

A plumbing business was losing new work simply because calls went unanswered during jobs, and follow-ups depended on remembering to text a customer back. Bookings, quotes, invoicing and reviews all lived in different places.

Approach

A single operational platform for the business: a website that captures enquiries, a voice reception system for missed calls, a scheduling workflow for the engineer's day, and automated invoicing and follow-up after each job.

Architecture
Business website
Voice reception
Enquiry & quoting workflow
Job scheduling
Invoicing & payments
Review & follow-up
Outcome
  • Missed calls stop translating into missed revenue.
  • The engineer's day is planned once and stays coherent as it unfolds.
  • Invoicing and follow-up run themselves in the background.

Law firm client portal

Industry

Law firm operations

Technology
Next.jsSupabasen8nSendGrid
Case 07
Problem

A boutique law firm was managing client matters over email, with documents scattered across attachments and updates repeated verbally. Partners spent meaningful time answering status questions instead of doing legal work.

Approach

A secure client portal engineered as part of the firm's operational system: matter status, documents, tasks and communications in one place, with a light workflow that keeps clients informed without adding work for the team.

Architecture
Client portal
Matter & document store
Intake workflow
Task routing
Client updates
Partner dashboard
Outcome
  • Partners spend less of the week answering status questions.
  • Clients experience a firm that feels organised and in control.
  • Matter handover between fee-earners becomes trivial rather than painful.

Restaurant ordering platform

Industry

Restaurant operations

Technology
Next.jsn8nSupabaseTwilioStripe
Case 08
Problem

A restaurant group was running online ordering, table reservations and customer communications across three unconnected systems, with front-of-house staff bridging them by hand during service.

Approach

An ordering and reservations platform wired into one operational workflow: online orders flow to the kitchen with the right timing, reservations sync to the floor plan, and customer communications run from a single source.

Architecture
Ordering website
Reservations
Kitchen workflow
Floor plan sync
Customer messaging
Reporting dashboard
Outcome
  • Service runs from one coherent view instead of three parallel screens.
  • Kitchen throughput improves because online orders arrive with sensible timing.
  • Owners see clean, comparable numbers across venues each morning.

Property management platform

Industry

Property management

Technology
Next.jsSupabasen8nTwilio
Case 09
Problem

A property management company was running tenants, maintenance requests, contractors and owner reporting across email and spreadsheets. Small issues turned into escalations simply because nothing was tracked end-to-end.

Approach

A management platform engineered as the operational backbone: tenant portal for requests, contractor workflow for dispatch, and clear owner reporting — all backed by a shared property and unit record.

Architecture
Tenant portal
Property & unit record
Maintenance workflow
Contractor dispatch
Owner reporting
Escalation alerts
Outcome
  • Requests stop falling through the cracks between inboxes.
  • Contractor coordination becomes a workflow, not a group chat.
  • Owners trust the numbers because they come from the operational system itself.
